news@nature.com-Iris Murdoch's last book reveals early Alzheimer's: "A vocabulary analysis of the final book by British novelist Iris Murdoch reveals the early stages of the Alzheimer's disease that killed her, neuroscientists have found. The discovery shows that even before she was diagnosed with the disease, her work betrayed the subtle signs of her condition."

I do not know why but this feels a bit sad. A brain on the decline is always a difficult image to picture. I'm also not sure if the technique will be always useful. It would probable be enough if the writer decides to write something different for "usual" and the computational method would flag it as decline maybe.
